Ron and I are thinking about moving the boys into one bedroom. They currently have their own room, but it would be nice to have a room for craft, computer, files, spare bed, etc. So we are considering buying a bunkbed, with a full size bed on the bottom, and having both boys sleep on the bottom bed for now. When Gavin gets older he could move to the top bunk. BUT... I am not exactly how much sleeping they would get done if they were both in the same room and same bed. It might just be asking for trouble.
On the other hand, though, my sister and I shared a room nearly all of our childhood, and we managed to get enough sleep. (Granted we were yelled at nearly every night to quiet down and go to sleep.)
Slumberland has a bed that would be perfect. Do we dare?!

heck yeah they should share a room!! most of my favorite memories of my childhood are of you and i late at night whispering/fighting.
like when we used to sneak the t.v. on until we heard Jerry's footsteps (to come yell at us to turn the t.v. off).
:)
trust me...they will hate you for it from age 11-17 and then be grateful for it anytime after the age of 24.
This isn't quite the same, but my brother and I used to sleep in each other's rooms all the time, and those are some of my favorite memories, also. Since we each only had one bed per room, we had to make a little bed out of blankets on the floor. It would've been nice if we had bunk beds. I always thought they were cool.
Have you asked Gavin what he thinks, or is it not a good idea to go there?
Gavin heard us talking about it and he is so excited every day he asks if he is getting his new bed. Every night he asks if Max can sleep with him. He also asks to look at the picture of the bed on the web about every other day. As you can tell he is very excited about it. I am not sure if Max is ready to be out of his crib yet and I am really not sure if they will let each other get to sleep.
i'm more worried that Gavin will kick the crap out of Max, in his sleep.
Let the beatings begin!!
