Easter Bunny

Gavin had his picture taken with the Easter Bunny at the mall. Max was supposed to, but ended up bawling in fear and wouldn't let go of my leg. So..... we got a picture of the next best thing. Max and the flowers about 20 feet away from the Easter Bunny.

Then they went on the train ride.

Bondurant IA (AP)- Official Name Change Request Has Been Filed

Gavin Crees, 5 years old, has just filed papers with no one in particular requesting a slight name change for his guinea pig, Pretty. The new name is now Pretty Hawk Crees. No doubt the addition of the middle name Hawk was influenced by his father's devotion, and therefore Gavin's mandatory devotion, to the University of Iowa Hawkeye sports teams.

Gavin adopted the albino cavie in January as part of an agreement with his parents which states, "Ronald and Angela Crees, parents of Gavin Crees, from this moment forward, will be required to willingly and happily give gifts to said child that will require lots of money and maintenance". This contract was put into place on January 23, 2003 at a nearby hospital and, as can be seen, has so far been upheld.

Gavin says...

I was pushing my cuticles back this morning and Gavin asked what I was doing. I told him and he said what is a cuticle? So I showed him. He said,"Is that so you can take your fingernails off?"


This afternoon Gabe and Gavin were coloring. This is what Gavin had to say,

"I went to a museum once and saw a lot of pictures. I told myself I could be an artist some day. But I think first I would like to do magic."


Where does he get this stuff at?!
