Church Christmas Program

Gavin played a shepherd this year in the Church Christmas Program. He did a very good job, except for the brief stint of turning the shepherd staff into a sword and attempting a sword fight with another shepherd. What can a person expect when you give two 4 year olds long sticks?!

Ron's ski trip

Ron took a ski trip to Park City, Utah the beginning of December. He had a lot of fun spending the day skiing and evening soaking in the hot tub.

Snow Day

What could be more fun to a kid then playing in the snow.

A walrus story

It has been awhile since I have posted a Gavin conversation so here goes.

G- Mommy, what do you know about walruses?
A- Not much
G- but what do you know?
A- I know they like to swim.
G- I already know that. What else.
A- I know they like to eat fish.
G- I already know that, too. What else.
A- I don't really know anything else about them, but we can find out at the library.
G- *sighs and shakes his head as if very disappointed*
G- Never mind.

Beggar's Night '07

Another beggar's night came and went. The kids had so much fun. The older they get the better more fun it is. Gavin went door-to-door with his friend Jacob. Max tagged along with his cousin Joey. They both came home with a sack full of candy.

The beef burgers were a hit again this year. We handed out 142 sandwiches and gave away about 96 cans of pop (all we had!) I love seeing all of the kids' costumes. I also dressed up this year. I think I would make Sarah proud!! :)

The Pumpkin Patch

The whole family went to the pumpkin patch to celebrate Gavin's milestone of breaking the habit of sucking his fingers. Way To Go GAV!!!! The kids had a blast feeding the animals, playing in the corn, and picking out their pumpkins. We even made our way through a corn maze!!!
