I scanned some more pictures. Pictures are just more fun. So one is of Max's first haircut and the other is Gavin's fish that he caught on his Scooby Doo fishing pole.

How to make cheese (proportions/herbs coming soon)...
*Mix buttermilk & whole milk *Cover with foil (make sure it's tight!) *Set outside for 1 wk *Poor results through a towell into a bowl (like a filter - go slow! - what remains on the towell is your cheese - what remains in the bowl is throw-away) *Set the cheese-towell-bowl in the fridge for 48hrs, or until you're ready to smoke it *Flip cheese from towell onto plate *Shape cheese to desired design on plate *Add herbs *Flip cheese onto grill (you'll want to get a tight mesh so cheese doesnt fall through the grill, but can still get smoked from underneath - this mesh will also be the design for the top of the cheese after smoking) *Smoke cheese for 8 minutes (use hay only - can get it from a feed store - want to make sure you have plenty to smoke with for 8 minutes 'cause it burns fast) *Remove from grill and flip again so design is on top *Chill *Serve
We just purchased our brand new gerbils! A white gerbil named Minnie P and a black gerbil named dark chocolate. Max was so excited until a thought suddenly came to him. "How are we going to tell them apart?"

The stuff in the towel is curds. the stuff in the bowl is whey. if you sit on a tuffet, you can expect a spider.
