I picked Max up from daycare and on the ride home I asked how his day was. He said, "I have something very special to tell you. I didn't have to miss any recess!" Woo Hoo Max!!!!! He said he even had to alphabetize and all of the words started with the letter A!! And he got it done in time. So that is two times this week that he has gotten his work done on time. That hasn't happened for awhile!
So we came home and placed a sticker on his calendar. :)
On a sadder note, one of his frogs died today. Max was quiet for a minute when I told him and then he said, "I just don't understand why it's eyes are still open." Max thinks maybe the other frog ate all of the dead frog's food. Who knows... maybe he did.
Max also had wrestling practice last night and didn't get to bed until 8pm. That is about an hour past his bedtime so I decided to call in late to work and let him sleep longer. I normally get him out of bed at 6:45; I finally had to wake him up at 7:45 or he was going to be late for school. He was more refreshed, though, and it obviously helped during school.
Breakfast: cereal bar, grapes
lunch: spaghetti, rice krispie bar, mandarin orange cup
snack: rice cakes

supper: bacon, sausage, cherry tomatoes. (breakfast night tonight and the kid won't eat eggs!)
snack: mandarin orange fruit cup
symptoms: circles under his eyes, stuffy and bloody nose today. not so tired tonight and didn't have to stay inside for recess. :)

WHAT?! His frog died! I might be able to have a replacement frog sent to his house (if you want me to). Want me to call the shop and inquire?
RIP Elvis. or Flipper.
No that's okay. I am not sure why he died. I don't see anything wrong with the tank. It is on same table as his humidifier, but the humidifier isn't blowing on it. Or is there a tempature range it is supposed to stay in? the heat turns down during the day while we are gone and at night. maybe it shouldn't turn down? I'm going to have to find the instructions that came with them. I am very paranoid about the remaining frog. it was swimming a lot tonight. Is that good or bad?
I don't think the temperature range is crucial. Kara has the same frogs in her room and that house gets pretty cold in the winter.
I have no idea what the swimming a lot means. Maybe the one frog did eat the other frog's food.
